Celebrating Diwali 2021 With Lights, Joy & Happiness

Diwali of 2021 was our first Diwali at the foundation and it was one we will not be forgetting for a long time. We brought in Diwali by conducting a lantern and diya drawing workshop with over 150 children from the slums of Ganpat Patil, Dahisar. Our teachers and volunteers guided the children on how to create their own lanterns and assisted them in drawing & coloring their diyas. All of the supplies for the event were given to the children by the foundation itself.

The joy and enthusiasm filled the air and it was an electric atmosphere. Children actively participated and also helped out others. We brought in the day with some snacks and music and distributed prizes for the best Lantern and painting of the Diya. It is days like these that help us keep pushing forward to make a better future for our children of tomorrow.
