Bringing In The Christmas Cheer For 2020

2020 hasn't been the easiest year for us but we brought in Christmas this year with the kids from Ganpat Patil Nagar, Dahisar.

With schools being shut because of the pandemic this year most children missed out on their annual Christmas celebration. We wanted to try to bring back the Christmas joy, celebration and cheer to our children who could not afford to have a Christmas celebration.

Filled with games, stage performances, narrations, joy, laughter and pure excitement our hope to bring happiness to kids was met with lots of hugs and precious moments.

On 19th December 2020, our Christmas celebration began at 4 pm where we distributed a few Christmas goodies to the children to get them all charged up for the party. Multiple lock downs built up a lot of energy within the kids which was waiting to explode and explode it did. Children put on their dancing shoes, signing voice and creative hats to give us energetic and lively performances. All the children got a platform to share their stories and we also had an interactive nativity story sharing activity.

Filled with giggles, laughter and ecstasy this Christmas party brought to us a lot of precious memories and created a lot of precious memories for the children as well. We wrapped up the evening by sharing a few snacks and soft drinks with the children, who had nothing but those invaluable smiles on their faces.
