Street play 💙

On 18th September 2022, Divine Foundation celebrated the Girl Child Day with great enthusiasm and a hope of bringing about change in the reachable surroundings. To educate the girl child and understand her importance in society we decided to switch from the traditional way of expressing ourselves that is drama and looked up for a more explosive way to spread awareness and thus chose to perform a Street play this time. 🤸

The Gallis and streets of Ganpat Patil Nagar were echoing with the chants of “Aao Aao Natak dekho Natak dekho”.

A generation which understands identifying and working on the social evils is more important than ignoring the problems and living life as it is. The children of Divine Foundation performed thiis inspiring street play highlighting the atrocities done against women and thus questioning the functioning of our society. We performed this play at 5 different places and everywhere we performed, we easily gathered a crowd of 50-60 people. The children were appreciated for their excellent performance and were provided refreshments.

This was as truly a great step towards bringing in the change and Divine Foundation will make sure to take many more such steps for a better future for our generation and the latter. 🫶🏽
